About Memio
From colourful roadside pansies, classic Norwegian swear words, and the locals’ unending affair with Norwegian waffles, Memio brings the small, everyday details into focus with her work.
With a background in art direction and design, she intentionally deviates from stylised drawings, and instead execute each project in ways that are called for.
All Memio products are thoughtfully designed from her hand-drawn illustrations, and are produced sustainably and locally at facilities that meet the strictest environmental requirements in the Nordic region.

It was one warm summer day at Sørlandet (south of Norway).
I was enjoying the sun's warmth, sitting by the window sill. Inspired by the the scenic view, I spent a couple of hours there and drew a fox. That lead to several other forest animals.
As a long time lover of paper, stationery and cards, I picked the fox, bunny, raccoon and squirrel and made a woodlands set*, complete with handmade envelopes. I was further inspired to make a Christmas set with six Norwegian Christmas-themed drawings. Both sets were soon sold out to people who liked my work irl and online. * The Woodland Set has since evolved into the Norwegian Woods set, with the hedgehog replacing the raccoon.
